Now I’ll never claim to be any kind of expert on scents, perfumes or beauty care products. My knowledge of ‘top notes’ is strictly limited to a good tune rather than the composition of something that smells nice (and this does smell very nice indeed) – but working long hours in the great outdoors I am accustomed to long soaks in a nice hot bath to unwind, relax and de-stress, so when I was given the opportunity to test this for LH I was over the moon. The bottle looks classy, not in an over the top way that many such products are sold in, more of a simple and smart design. A quick whiff after removing the cap assured me this wasn’t some cheap supermarket bubble bath the likes of which I’m well used to. My nose isn’t finely tuned enough to identify the specific elements used so I’ll have to take the contents descriptions word for what makes it smell so nice but it certainly does just that. Not overpowering but even after an hours soaking I could still smell it distinctly. A little seems to go a long way. The bubbles were with me for the entire two hour soak and I definitely smelt a lot better on exiting the bath than on entering it. It did leave my skin feeling quite smooth – I won’t make any claims of permanent change but when you’re in your 40’s with the odd wrinkle or two you do notice the difference, trust me. Did I get ‘aroused’ as the name suggests? Not on this occasion but it had been a long day and much as I’d have liked to test the theory by the time I left my soak the wife was spark out asleep in bed. But it will definitely be getting another test with her joining me soon, as it certainly seems more suitable for a couples experience than anything currently on the bathroom shelf. All in all a very enjoyable experience – a great smell, good bubble lifespan and a thoroughly relaxing and soothing soak. I’d have gladly given it 5 stars but not sure I’d be able to justify the price tag on a regular basis given how much bubble bath I go through, although it would make a perfect birthday/anniversary/Xmas gift for a partner.

I like this much more than I was expecting to, it’s definitely on a par with some of the fancier skincare brands – I keep finding any excuse for a soak! The bubblebath has a really nice scent, and smells completely real – no artificial notes at all. The scent is hard to describe other than that it’s really pleasant – it’s complex and layered, one you can’t quite can’t put your finger on what it reminds you of but you just want to keep smelling it because it’s so nice. It’s kind of a sensual smell and for some reason makes me want a very expensive cocktail! I definitely found it a relaxing and pampering sort of fragrance, one you’re happy to lavish in the bath with – and the scent stays on skin for a good long time too. Tumbling into bed with someone after they’ve had a bath with these bubbles is glorious. It comes in a decent size bottle so you’d certainly get lots of baths out of it. There’s no guide on how much to use for a bath but I put a generous blob in and got plenty of bubbles and beautiful scent, and found it didn’t make too much of a dent to the contents of the bottle. The bottle also has a fairly discreet design, so it probably wouldn’t draw the eye if accidentally left on display in the bathroom. I have sensitive skin and find a lot of shower gels and bubble baths can dry my skin out, so it was a pleasant surprise to find that this one seemed kind to my skin. Even after using multiple days in a row I’ve had no dryness, so it’s a total win for sensitive skin! All in all I think it’s great – decent size bottle, beautiful scent that lingers, lots of bubbles and kind to sensitive skin. I’ll certainly be getting another bottle when this runs out.

The days are getting shorter and the autumnal chill in the air makes the idea of a cheeky warm bath all the more appealing. Enter LV Apothecary Arouse Bubble Bath: this delicately scented gel has the ability to transform bath time into a sensual spa-like experience. I found the layered scents of this bubble bath gel delivered a very elegant and exciting sensorial experience, with the woody notes being predominantly present on decanting the gel into the water to next develop into a more floral- yet still subtle- scent as you let the bubbles envelop you. As for the product description, I was also expecting to smell citrus notes but I could not notice any hint of it at any point, which I cannot say I missed, as I found the bouquet balanced enough as it is and extremely pleasant. Being a lifelong fan of extra bubbly baths, I used two full caps into the bathtub and that was enough to create a good amount of bubbles that lasted for a long while (there were still bubbles aplenty after a 30 minute soak) I cannot really say the product has had any immediate noticeable effects in my mood, other than delivering a really relaxing and sumptuous experience hearing the tingly bubbles pop, while smelling its beautiful scent, but it’s early days and I plan for this bubble bath to be my go to for the foreseeable! I have also tried the product in lieu of my shower gel in the morning, and, despite not being specifically designed to be moisturising, it lathered very nicely and did not dry out my skin. My only downside would be that the scent does not linger on the skin and fades quite quickly.

I do love a good bubble bath and was really interested to see what a Lovehoney bubble bath would be like. Opening the bottle and sniffing it, I was a little underwhelmed. It is not a bad scent by any means, it just reminds me a little of the type of bubble bath you get in a branded gift set at Christmas whilst also reminding me a little of the shower gels that brand themselves as plain and kind on skin. If you are looking for something that isn’t the usual sweet or floral smell then this one is definitely worth trying. The liquid has more of a gel like consistency, but pours easily and the bottle is reasonably easy to squeeze to speed it up should you need to. I wasn’t sure how much to use so didn’t use too much to start with. A little definitely does go a long way so I can see this bottle lasting quite a while. The bubbles themselves were plentiful and lasted a long time. The scent wasn’t particularly strong, but maybe that is because I didn’t use much. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin or anything, but I was able to use this without any issues. I definitely feel relaxed and contented after using this bubble bath, which is how I like to feel after a nice soak in the bath. I’m not sure it adds anything to my sex life that any decent bubble bath wouldn’t though. It is definitely a nice bubble bath and would make a nicer gift than most of the ones available in the supermarket for someone who likes bubble baths. It would also make a good add on purchase for someone looking to buy from Lovehoney for the first time; it may not be inherently sexy but it is quite a gentle introduction to the brand and a place to start if you’ve bought a box of goodies.

This bubble bath is SOOO bubbly! I’m not a fan of bath bombs as I find it frustrating when the bomb doesn’t dissolve properly so it was an absolute pleasure not having to worry about it and just relaxing. Great for solo play but also fun with a partner for sure! The scent is lovely and I cannot wait to try the Seduce scent!

I was looking forward to trying this bubble bath as baths are a big part of my weekly routine. The bottle is a good size and would be perfect to also take travelling. The smell is not for me, I also purchased the ‘seduce’ smell which i much preferred, however my boyfriend really liked it! It serves as a good bubble bath with lots of bubbles, but I can’t say I felt aroused after using it unfortunately!

I had never tried bubble bath from LoveHoney before. So when I saw this bubble bath on the site, I decided to treat myself to both the seduce and the arouse bubble baths. The arouse bubble bath was discreetly sent to me in a box with other items I had ordered from LoveHoney. The bottle itself was smaller than I expected so I was a little worried I would go through this bubble bath super quickly due to the fact I am a fiend for bubbles. I learnt my mistake from when I used the seduce bubble bath and put a small amount in the bath and the bubbles rose nicely and created a layer of bubbles. The smell is really beautiful but I do prefer the seduce one more than this one. This one smells more like a men’s shower product. Pros: Smells lovely. A little goes a long way. Bottles look discreet so it doesn’t scream LoveHoney as soon as someone sees the bottle. Makes my skin feel soft and luxurious. Cons: You have to be careful with the amount you use. I wish the bottles were bigger. Overall, this is a nice bubble bath and I’d recommend this for someone who absolutely loves bubbles in their baths and who wants to treat themselves. I honestly wish LoveHoney sold bigger bottles of this stuff!

I bought this as well as the Seduce Scent to add a bit extra to shared baths. Both my partner and I love the scents! A little goes a long way so a bottle will last you ages! The bubbles are perfect! Not too many, not too little. It works well for relaxing baths alone or for some extra spice!
