I haven’t used a pussy pump in years and the tech has certainly advanced in the meantime. The one I used previously actually had a hand pump, so this battery-powered beauty is certainly a step up. And what a step up it proved to be. Firstly the design is super cute – a dusky red rose with perfectly placed petals. The toy fits nicely in the hand and is lightweight and easy to control. The flat bottom also means it will stand upright which I always appreciate as no-one wants carpet lint and cat hair on their toys from rolling off the bedside cabinet. Press the button for a few seconds to power on, then activate the suction and/or the vibration. As with most toys there are a range of vibration patterns to scroll through. I noticed that there was quite the range of strengths and pulsations so you’re bound to find one you like. The suction pump effect is no shrinking violet (rose?) either. I certainly felt well and truly sucked! It’s worth noting at this juncture that the suction function should not be used for more than 15 minutes at a time and only once each 24hrs. The suction effect absolutely made me more sensitive and enhanced the effect of the vibrations. My only minor niggle with this toy is that cleaning it is more of a faff than most.
