Ordered this thinking part pre Christmas surprise to my bf and part little gift to myself! This set is honestly the cutest. The soft satin texture paired with the whole gift box opening experience just makes it such a cute vibe. I’ve kept the box and ribbon so i can repack up when we have weekends away together. I’m a size UK 10 and ordered O/S 8-16.

I was really intrigued by this set, it seems such a cool and sexy idea but, for me, it just doesn’t work. I do want to start on a positive though and the colour is absolutely stunning. It is a real, true red that will look great on a wide range of skin tones, including my pale skin. Red can be hit and miss for me, but this shade really does look awesome on me. I have this in the Queen size and normally wear a size 18/20 and a 38E bra. The knickers fit well, and actually manage to be backless without being crotchless on me. It is hard to get them feeling tight enough to be secure, but they stayed up and in place well. A combination of how stretchy the material is and the tie means they will fit the full size range. The bra on the other hand fits less well. The band is perfect and appropriately adjustable so again should fit most people it’s aimed at. However, the cups are too small for my boobs. I found myself spilling out all over the place and, although it didn’t actually look all that bad, it just didn’t feel all that sexy. This brings me on to the next issue; the big unwrapping. The knickers do untie at the back and will either fall away or can be gently peeled off. The bra doesn’t work like this however. The elasticated band of the bra has a clasp so undoing the ribbon actually does nothing. You can undo the clasp before undoing the ribbon but this does remove some of the sexiness of being unwrapped. Without the clasp, the bra wouldn’t be particularly great at being a bra but maybe a quicker release clasp would have been better. I also found that I couldn’t do a perky enough bow to cover the clasp of the bra which reduced the sexiness a little as well. I am a big fan of satin lingerie and the material feels really nice. There are no sharp bits or anything digging in. However, the stitching left a little to be desired. It’s all held together fine, but there are a few messier bits, which is unusual for Lovehoney, so maybe I just got an off one. The satin ties are nice and long so you have lots of options of where you want to tie them to. I’m not sure they are necessarily needed but they are a nice addition, and can either be used on the wearer of the set if they are being unwrapped or on their partner if the wearer is performing a strip tease. This is a nice set, but doesn’t work if you have bigger boobs and didn’t quite work how I would have liked.

Really enjoyed this piece, the gift box and presentation was a touch of class. The red is bold and would look incredible on anyone – it truly is beautiful. My boyfriend had great pleasure coming home and unwrapping me, and it’s definitely an item that doesn’t last long on the body! I would say that the one size fits all is a bit misleading. I’m a 36C, size 12 and although my boobs fit in it, it was a bit gappy at the sides. I loved the bottoms though and the cuffs came in very handy keeping me restrained. Material and quality are great and the novelty is super fun, (my boyfriend definitely thought so) but if you’re a smaller breasted woman then I think you may be left with a lot of material to fill.

This lingerie comes in a very cute black envelope style box, that’s closed up with a red ribbon……inside it’s wrapped nicely in black tissue paper……if this was bought as a gift for someone, it’s presentation really is nice. So, the lingerie itself is a beautiful red, not tacky at all & the kind of deep red that I think would suit most skin tones. It’s beautifully silky soft…….you get a cute pair of knickers that tie up at the back making them fully adjustable & meaning one little tug at the back on the ribbon would make them drop to the floor (perfect!), although when they were on they felt very secure. The bra, has ribbon at the front that can be tied into a bow, but unfortunately this isn’t where it undoes, which I think is kinda more of the point of this underwear (like you can be unwrapped like a present on the top & bottom), instead, it has a fully adjustable band that hooks & unhooks at the back…..the straps are also fully adjustable. Unfortunately, this just didn’t fit me well. I’m very petite at 5ft3, dress size very small 8. The top has far too much material for me…..I’m currently a 32b/c (although am due to have breast surgery so I imagine it would fit better then). It didn’t look awful, but it did look too big. The bottoms fit even worse…again, far too much material for me……they came up to my belly button (not suited to this style, the triangle front was too wide on me, & the back straps just didn’t fit well across my bum cheeks (thing or normal knicker style). It also comes with 2 matching ribbon restraints, which my partner & I have enjoyed using on each other though, they are soft & feel nice for gentle BDSM play, but strong enough that you don’t worry about them coming undone or tearing. This is a lovely item, but not for very petite women…..I’d say maybe dress size 10+. I will gift my item (minis the restraints!) to a friend that it will be more suited too as it really is beautiful though.

This bra set is such a lovely gifting set. The product comes in a nice gift box with tissue paper and the set itself is very silky soft and has a premium feel to it. The colour is beautiful and the set feels really sexy. However, i’m only 5″1 and the tie up detailing feels a little on the longer side for me. It might fit better on a taller body.

We loved receiving this item from LH to test – and it didn’t disappoint. It came in a beautiful little package with a bow – making it the perfect little gift. The material feels lovely and sensual and was easy to put on – and it looks knockout. The only real negative for us was that my OH is 5’11 and 38E cup, and the bra doesn’t really contain her boobs properly….now some might see that as a plus (myself included) however she prefers feeling supported – and felt like she could’nt keep it on while ‘in action’ – but I don’t think thats the idea! All in all its great for the tease and reveal…we’d recommend it!

The first thing that impresses about this set is the presentation box, which looks premium and makes this a perfect set for gifting to someone. The colour of the set is a lovely deep red, which is very sexy and in-theme with Christmas colours, so I imagine it will sell very well over the festive period as people are selecting gifts for their loved ones. The feel of the material is amazing; some sating sets can feel very cheap and uncomfortable on the skin, but this isn’t the case here, it feels as close to silk as possible for this price point. The bra and knickers are both fully adjustable, so should be fairly forgiving if you choose the right sizing. My OH is well endowed and the bra was able to contain the trophies, just about! There isn’t a great deal of support, but we’re not too bothered about that. The ribbons give a real ‘unwrap me’ vibe, which I guess is the whole point, but strangely the bra doesn’t unwrap at the front, you have to unhook at the back, which really confused me in the heat of the moment! You also get a lovely ribbon, which can be used any way you like. All in all, this is a great set and would make a perfect gift!

I’ve always loved satin underwear (so strokeable!) and ribbons to untie it instead of having to try and successfully shimmy off underwear or undo the rear fasten clasp on a bra, so I was really happy to get to test this satin bra gift set! I will say now that my love of satin underwear is not matched by my boyfriend, so his unenthusiastic opinion will be coloured by that. This is designed as a gift set, and I would say it works really well – it would definitely be a great christmas eve early-open present to enjoy that night, whilst being just about innocent enough you’re safe to put it under the tree. It’s just a small card box after all. I love that the packaging is just plain card, with almost matching red ribbon; it’s really elegant and easily recyclable without feeling cheap and sets the scene for the fact it contains untieable underwear in similar red ribbons, although it would be great for any underwear. There’s also nothing to say that it’s specifically festive, red satin is classic lingerie all year round, if you don’t need an extra it could easily wait until valentine’s. One-size is always a risk, and satin with minimal stretch like this is always likely to be what catches you out. To put it bluntly, this set doesn’t really fit me, and no amount of tinkering with straps is likely to fix that. I’m a size 10-12 34B, and while it went on easily, and didn’t look weird or gappy it was very clearly not designed for my size and shape. The cups have a lot of coverage, so I had absolutely no cleavage. If I pull the back of the strap down to where it should be, I have gaps down the side of the cups. At least this meant that my boyfriend could slip his hands down the sides so there’s easy access without having to take the bra off if you don’t want to. There’s no clear tip to the cups with the darts, so it never looks like your nipples are in the wrong place at least, but it doesn’t look right either. I have a cheap, poor quality, christmas microbikini that suits me better because I can tie the straps as tight as I like until it sits right. The unwrap me part that’s the main feature of this set doesn’t help with the sizing either – while it is tied at the front of the bra, there’s a clip underneath to hold it in place. I get it, because it means it works as a bra better, and the satin is so slippery there’s no way it would stay up without that. The clips still kind of ruins the gimmick and means there is no control over how tight they can be tied – something I rely on for tiefront for tweaking the fit. My boyfriend said he didn’t really see the point in it being tiefront if it has the clip as well – which is the kind that hooks in rather than the pop-to-separate plastic clasps that I prefer – I find them much easier to undo. It would make more sense to me if the ribbons came off entirely like suspender and bra straps can to make them strapless, that way it could be worn under clothes without them. The thong is better from the unwrap-me perspective, if you untie it does at least slowly fall off, but the fit is no better. There’s excess fabric bunched in the front that I could probably fit a small packer in. I. I’m unsure whether it’s supposed to be crotchless – but while my bum is accessible, my entire vulva and vagina are totally covered. Up to you whether that’s a good or bad thing I guess! I was able to make it fit me best by crossing over the straps at the back, bringing them around to the front over my natural waist and tying them at the front instead of back with the straps from the front going very high over my hips. The materials are nice, it’s a good middle of the road red, not too orange, not too pink, not too dark. It’s not my favourite, but I don’t think anyone would dislike it. The satin is smooth and soft without feeling too slippery or being too shiny like some cheap satin can be, the elastic-fabric bra strap is soft and comfortable and the stretch in it moves with the fabric; I would like all bra straps to use elastic this thick to avoid pinching from pressure. While there are a lot of loose threads and frayed edges they all seem to be hidden on the inside on where the fabric is finished, and don’t seem to be unravelling at all. I am sensitive to any scratch or tickle, and they didn’t pose a problem for me. The satin is so soft that it tries to undo itself before you’re ready, but at least nobody will struggle to get you out of it. It’s cute that it comes with ribbons for bondage, but with how slippy the satin is if it weren’t for the logo I would be more likely to use them for tying back curtains. It’s a nice set, a nice gift, and it’s fine I guess? It definitely doesn’t look bad on me, but when asked for his opinion my boyfriend gave a strong “meh” and it didn’t stay on long before I swapped for something else to wear. It would fit someone bigger much better, but I would probably give it a miss if you’re under size 14. Somehow with my figure, red satin managed to look frumpy.
