These ROMP Amp anal beads are very good value for the product you get. Although the 6 inch length is larger than the plugs I have, they are very comfortable and suitable for all users. If you’re a beginner to anal toys, you have no need to worry! That’s not to say they’re only good for beginners though, they make a good addition to those more experienced people’s toy box as well. These are suitable for longer term sessions too if that’s your thing – I had no problem keeping these in for a few hours. They are really easy to clean, the silicone is well shaped to ensure they are fully cleaned and kept hygienic. They come in a fairly small box with little on the way of thrills in the packaging – the real thrill is in the box anyway! As any Lovehoney customer will know, they are discreetly packaged and delivery times are excellent. Overall I’m very pleased – a great little toy for anal play at a very reasonable price.

We were lucky enough to be chosen by LH to road test so to speak this lovely looking toy!! As per usual it was fast and discreet delivery, Inside the delivery box; The packaging for this toy was simple. Clear structured plastic packaging which simply unclips to access the plug, I kept this for storage as it’s structured to the toys shape and pretty sturdy! We’ve been dabbling with anal for a few years on and off, but I now my partner enjoys it more, so I wanted to be more prepared! It’s soft, yet strong. Not uncomfortable, or to soft to be flopping all over whilst trying to insert! Once the toy was lubed up with my favourite water based lube and a quick warm up my wife was ready, insertion was simple, (and this next part is my my wife commentary) the popping of each bead stretch feels amazing! each one being only slightly bigger meant insertion was simple, no massive stretching. These beads are an excellent way to try anal play. They are made from smooth, soft silicone and are a size that almost anyone could accommodate. Use water based lube and experiment with the sensation of them moving in and out. Having a T-bar also means they are comfortable to “wear” either during play or even out and about!

The silicone is super soft and smooth which made it really easy to clean. Using them was also easy, the toy is really flexible and the beads increase in size which made them easy to insert with a little lube. The size makes a great gradual introduction for anyone new to anal beads as they’re not too big and can take the smaller beads first. We mostly love that these have a T-bar which made it really comfortable to wear even for longer periods of time and gave peace of mind that they wouldn’t go anywhere. I personally enjoyed wearing these as a buildup to play and my partner enjoyed that he could also feel them during penetration. The stretch as they got slowly removed was a great sensation especially when sensitive after orgasm. Overall these are ideal for those new to anal play or wanting some suitable for longer wear.

We haven’t used Anal Beads before, as my wife doesn’t really like look of them. So when we were chosen by Lovehoney to review ROMP Amp Silicone Anal Beads we weren’t expecting much. However, we couldn’t have been any more wrong. Made from soft flexible plastic with a “soft touch” silicon the beads have luxurious tactile feel. Easy to grab (even when covered in lube) handle and increasing bead size ensure complete control to quickly lose yourself in the moment. Wow! The orgasms (yes orgasms) from these beads were both long and intense. And I had what I can only describe as a full body orgasm when the beads were removed. My Aneros has never come close to doing that. These beads are now my go to for bum fun! My OH still needs convincing but I’m a bead convert!!

I had never used anal beads prior to this toy (despite being an anal sex and plugs enthusiast), so was excited to review this toy when it came in the post. The toy is well-made – it’s soft and flexible without feeling flimsy, and the wide T-shaped base assuaged any concerns I had about it being lost inside me, while also being easy to grip and slide in and out. I definitely recommend this toy for people who are beginners to anal – the individual beads are not that much wider than my thumb, making them easy to insert with a bit of lube. I really enjoyed the popping sensation of the beads too, it felt so different to using a plug. Overall I really enjoyed using this toy, would definitely recommend it to beginners as well as the more experienced. I’m going to buy more beads for myself for sure! As normal with lovehoney they were delivered with absolutely no hint as to what was in the box. The silicone used is perfectly smooth and the quality of the product is absolutely top. The beads themselves are on the small side so for those who are already experienced with anal play these probably aren’t for you. They have a slim piece of silicone joining the beads together, again ideal if you’re just trying out with anal. This gives an ideal length gap between the beads. We do have another set which are closer together which take a little more time to get in as there’s no real respite. They’re not rigid like another set we have so they are a little tricky to get in but that’s nothing too major. Overall as a couple that is already relatively well versed in anal play would we buy them? Probably not. If you’re interested in trying it these would be a great introduction as they’re not intimidating in the slightest. I would recommend one of the relaxing lubes though, as I mentioned these are very flexible

I typically go for tiny buttplugs, and I especially love smaller beaded ones over actual anal beads themselves, so these beads were a fantastic in-between. The first key for whether anal toys will be any good for me is measurements, so I checked them all! The beads are smallest to largest: 2.5″, 2.75″, and 3.25″ in circumference. This is only slightly smaller than the advertised measurements, but for me this tiny difference actually makes a huge difference, especially when 3.5″ is normally the smallest girth you can get in anal toys! The increase between each bead is perfectly small enough to avoid any stinging or uncomfortable popping, whilst still being noticeable. This tiny girth also makes it perfect to use in conjunction with vaginal penetration, which meant I was able to use it with some of my larger dildos that normally I wouldn’t dare use with anal toys in addition, or with a partner. The T bar has 1.25″ from the central spacer to edge, so that’s how much coverage you might lose for being able to use this toy with vaginal penetration – or how much perineum stimulation you could expect. I didn’t find it blocked access at all, it has a very comfortable chunky T bar that is easy to hold and means you have no fear of it slipping in too far. The symmetry of these beads not having any natural curve to them means that the T-bar can it can be twisted diagonally without impacting how the toy feels internally to stay out of the way for penetration. At 4″ from bottom of the largest bead to top of the smallest, that’s slightly deeper than I would ordinarily prefer for a plug. This is because the spacers between the beads are 0.5″ between each bead, and then 0.75″ to the T-bar. My personal preference would be to have these half the size and reduce the flexibility in the toy to make it less wiggly and more like a plug, so that I would lose an extra 0.5″ of length to avoid being too deep. This is a very personal opinion, I fully appreciate I like unusually small anal toys, and this is still very small! Strong and secure spacers between the beads mean there’s never so much stretch that it will come out too fast, or make me worry that the silicone is thinning and could tear. These 0.5″ spacers are what gives the toy the flexibility to be so comfortable, the silicone is easily folded so that all three beads touch, so very bendy without flopping, but enough spring to be self-righting and straighten out immediately as soon as it stops being held in place. The silicone is the perfect density, spring and smoothness for this. It’s incredibly soft and comfortable, perfectly smooth and lint free with no squeakiness or chafing, but not so smooth that it slips out of place at all unintentionally. The downside of beads over a plug for me is that the slightly longer spacing means it’s harder to push the beads to pop the individual beads in and out slowly, which is how I would ordinarily like to use them – the advantage of anal toys for me is avoiding touching too much with my hands so I don’t have to worry about touching other areas afterwards. This toy is a little more hands on since each bead has to be pushed in individually rather than by the T-bar due to the flexibility meaning they would just fold otherwise. If you’re wanting a genuinely quality beginner toy for anal, this is definitely it. It’s small, the smaller beads are even smaller than that, the materials and build quality are fantastic, it’s safe, it’s cheap, and it won’t get in the way of other activities. If like me you already know you like anal play, but you just want a little extra stimulation rather than any kind of stretch, this is also fantastic. It’s not far off, but not quite the perfect anal toy for me, purely because I have a slight leaning more towards plugs over actual beads.

First time trying beads and these were easy to slip in once lived up, mainly due to the slowly increasing size and the great quality silicone they are made from. Beads are designed to be used at point of climax and even just removing one of these heightened the sensation so much the rest ended up staying in! Wish there was one extra bead at least of slightly bigger girth as this would give users the choice to go bigger if needed without buying another set to experiment with further, but other than that these are a good toy!

We got this toy as my partner is slowly exploring boots play. Having started out with a small buttplug, we wanted to try something small but with more length. This toy has a nice feel, the very classic smooth silicone feel you find in many other LH toys. The silicone requires lube to work, but feels good and is easy to clean. The beads are all small, gradually getting bigger, but still smaller than a small buttplug. The “rod” itself is very flexible, perhaps slightly too much. It does mean inserting just by pushing it can be a challenge and is more easily done with a helping finger to push in the beads. Very pleasant to “wear” once inserted and adds a nice stimulation whilst having vaginally sex for both partners. Best for people new to anal play, or for those who just likes a little thing for extra stimulation without the want for bigger anal toys.

I got these as a free gift with a dildo I ordered and thought I’d try them once and never use again. I generally use quite large dildos (upwards of 8 inches or so) and butt plugs so thought I wouldn’t get much pleasure from these beads. However, I really really enjoy them, especially as a butt plug alternative. I’ve wanted to keep myself plugged for extended periods for ages but I just find every plug I’ve tried too uncomfortable externally after a while as they dig into my arse cheeks.
